The piston and crank mechanism are located in teardrop shaped internal body.

The piston is axially guided inside the internal body and linear movement of piston changes cross-section. The piston is driven by crank mechanism which transforms rotational movement of gearbox or other actuation devices to linear movement.

Hydraulically operated Check Needle Valves are project-specific valves developed for use in high flow and pressure pump applications and turbine by-pass systems, which can react quickly when necessary, preventing the pump from being damaged during start-up and the equipments being damaged in sudden stops.

These valves also have a fast opening and closing feature. The hydraulic drive system is designed in order to have the most efficient operation of the valve according to the application conditions of the pipelines.
