closing slams and water hammer for entire closing stroke.

SLANTED SEAT CHECK VALVE WITH HYDRAULIC DAMPER

โ€“ย On request Slanted Seat Check Valves are equipped with hydraulic
ย  ย end stage dampers in order to prevent the water hammer in
ย  ย pumping stations.
โ€“ย The end stage damper is active at the last %10 of closing stroke.
โ€“ย In case of power failure at the pumping station the disc closes very
ย  ย fast until reaching the damper that is why the back flow passing
ย  ย through the check valve during closure is minimum.
โ€“ย This type is one of the best check valves then the turning back of
ย  ย pumpโ€™s impeller is critical. Damping effect can be adjusted by the
ย  ย help of integrated needle valve on damper according to the pumping
ย ย  and ย working conditions.
โ€“ย The end stage damper is not linked to the disc and does not resist to
.ย ย openย that is why headless of this type is less than the types with the
.ย ย dampers linked to the levers.
