Haldi Clamp Restores Hydrant Safety
A customer recently contacted their local Fire & Rescue Service after concerns were raised regarding the condition of two hydrants. Following an inspection, the hydrants were deemed unsafe to operate and were flagged as being at significant risk of failure. With the hydrants temporarily out of service and operational reliability compromised, the Fire & Rescue Service recommended that immediate action be taken to secure and stabilise the assets. The customer reached out to R2M for support, seeking a proven solution that would allow the hydrants to be made safe without requiring full replacement.
On Tuesday, two of our Haldi Hydrant Safety Clamps were installed by Will Garrod and Tia Sleath. The Haldi Clamp is specifically designed to eliminate the risk of mechanical failure during hydrant operation, restoring confidence and enabling the hydrants to be used safely and effectively once again.
Thanks to the installation of the Haldi Clamps, both hydrants were returned to full operational status, providing the customer with a reliable, long-term safety solution and ensuring that essential fire-fighting infrastructure remains ready when needed.
