This project was carried out for a large contractor within Hampshire, where they required a bespoke maintenance joint and the installation of a significantly offset pipe section. The challenge was intensified by a restricted eight-hour shutdown window, meaning the solution needed to be delivered quickly, safely and with complete accuracy.
R2M coordinated closely with our trusted installation partners to ensure the right expertise was on site.
The installation team were able to fabricate and fit the custom components directly on site, accommodating the unusual pipe offset without compromising quality or performance. Despite the tight restrictions, the work was completed in just six hours—two hours ahead of schedule.
