Pipe Rehabilitation Made Simple
For Phase 1 of the Pentonville Project, the contractor and the customer were undertaking multiple sliplining projects in London, replacing old Cast Iron mains with PE pipe. They approached us to assess the suitability of the Nova Siria NovaGrip Flange Adaptors as their preferred solution. After several detailed discussions with their technical teams, designers, and engineers, we developed a tailored design for a Single Restraint Nova Siria NovaGrip Flange Adaptor, sized DN350 to suit a DN355 SDR17 host pipe.
The installation was carried out successfully, with the NovaGrip adaptors performing exactly as required. Our installation partners carried out the measurements on the existing pipework, which was challenging due to its age and condition, ensuring precise fitting despite the complexities of working with old Cast Iron pipelines.
The contractor expressed their satisfaction with both the design and installation process, highlighting the reliability of the NovaGrip system in challenging conditions. This project demonstrates the effectiveness of collaborative planning and the adaptability of our solutions in complex rehabilitation projects.
