SPA Project: Nova Siria Flange Adaptors
R2M first became involved with the SPA Project in 2021. Following initial discussions, our range of Nova Siria Multigrip and Multisize flange adaptors were approved by the Lead Engineer at Anglian Water. This led to a steady stream of enquiries, driven by the quality of our products and the reliability of our service.
Over the course of the project, R2M supplied 58 x DN 700 PN 16 Nova Siria Multigrip End Restraint Flange Adaptors (695–725 OD range), as well as Numerous DN 600–900, PN 16 Nova Siria Multisize Flange Adaptors.
Prior to installation at multiple site locations, our team attended the Peterborough site in January 2024 to provide a hands-on training session.
Using 710mm SDR 11 pipe with a standard liner, we demonstrated the correct installation of the flange onto steel fabrication. Even when faced with some pipe ovality, the liner was installed successfully with the appropriate wedge, and guidance was provided on the correct bolt sequence and torque tightening in line with the manufacturer’s instructions.
Throughout the SPA Project, R2M continued to provide ongoing support to ensure the correct installation and performance of all flange adaptors. Our involvement demonstrates the combination of high-quality products, practical expertise, and dedicated service that enables complex water infrastructure projects to run smoothly and efficiently.
